For Little Shop of Horrors, I worked as the assistant technical director, co-lighting designer, and light board operator. As assistant technical director, I helped in most aspects of the design, and I drafted most of the set. In this show, I learned how to use an ETC Ion board with intelligent fixtures, how to focus lights, how to make a light plot, and how to draft in VectorWorks

2018 Spring
In the 2018 Choir Pop Show, I had the opportunity to learn about the light board, and how to write cues while performers were working on stage. I had a lot of freedom when it came to the design of the show, which allowed me to express to the audience what I felt the music was trying to express. During the rehearsals for this show, I learned how to effectively write cues, use effects, and how to effectively communicate with a director.

For this show, I designed the makeup for the three gods. It was inspired by the stylized makeup of the Peking Opera. The Peking Opera uses a style of face painting called Lianpu, which uses colors and shapes to depict the characteristics of a specific role.

The Christmas Show is an annual show that is made up of different skits that the various theatre classes right. With that, this is a sign that I made for our Mainstage class. I worked as the prop master for this show, and I learned how to set up a prop table correctly, and how to make props that follow the director's vision.

The Diviners

The Diviners was put on during Wylie ISD's Summer On Stage. The biggest challenge with this show was the limited rehearsal time and the location. We created a thrust stage in an orchestra room, with limited supplies. I had to adapt quickly to the new lighting fixtures, and environment, and learned how important it is to be adaptable when working in a theatre.

For All Those People is a show written by our mainstage class. In it, we compiled many different poems, songs, and dances to express our ongoing emotions. By being on the run crew, I worked the spot, front of house, and backstage with the deck crew.
