For All Those People Platforms

With these platforms, I learned basic woodworking skills, such as cutting wood, legging a platform, and attaching castors. These were a challenge because this was my first time using power tools, and I had to overcome a learning curve. From a design standpoint, these platforms proved difficult because we had to make them all look different while maintaining a similar pattern.

This table was designed to sit level in the slanted house of an auditorium. It also has a collapsible ledge so that you can write on an angled surface, and for ease of storage. The table is relatively simple; however, there was a great deal of math involved due to the fact that we had to find both the slope of the house and the difference in the height of the legs.
